Toadvine is an NPC who can be found on Delvemore Dungeon to unlock Lillyth, during the Din, the Old King boss fight or on the final floor of the Goldmine, Halls of Din and the Shimmering Caverns.
Toadvine has 
300 on the Goldmine Exit, 3,000 on the Delvemore Dungeon to unlock Lillyth, 700 on the Halls of Din and 300 during the Din, the Old King boss fight.
He has the same attacks as a Footman. Yet, unlike a normal Footman, Toadvine cannot be hurt by your thrown pickaxe.
He can be fought to enter Delvemore Dungeon before defeating Selt. This will give you an achievement as well.
He is always accompanied by Bathcat, whom he dislikes.
He cannot be fought to unlock Lillyth as Bathcat will just teleport you and lock you out.
Fighting Toadvine[ | ]
Toadvine still takes damage from being on fire and from Bombs. Keeping some Bombs for the fight can make it a lot easier.
While fighting the two, Bathcat will constantly heal him, making it ineffective to try and defeat him before defeating her.
He attacks quite slowly, which allows you to attack him once with your swing attack, then jump to the other side of him, then attack... until he dies. However, since there are some Oil barrels in the room, watch where you are standing, or you might not be able to jump.
Anything that increases your Swing Damage or Swing Speed can help.
Fighting With Toadvine[ | ]
You can have Bathcat and Toadvine as allies in Halls of Din 4, in front of the gate before defeating Noori. By talking to them you start a fight of 3 waves of Scale Tunnels. Keeping Bathcat alive is recommended due to her quick healing, which can help the player greatly.
